China’s growing demand for next-generation technology draws the worldwide GaN leader to Power 2017
EL SEGUNDO, Calif.—(PRWeb)—Navitas Semiconductor today announced its participation in China’s annual multi-city power conference “Power 2017”, where new GaN Power IC applications for advanced mobile, industrial and consumer markets will be unveiled. Navitas executives will also meet with key customers to enable first-to-market, leading-edge AC-DC applications from 20 W to 500 W using the company’s groundbreaking, high-speed AllGaN™ technology.
As the worldwide leader in GaN power ICs, Navitas will showcase its leading technology at three Power 2017 conference venues:
- Shenzhen – Sept. 2 at the Venetian Hotel
- Shanghai – Sept. 7 at the Zhongyou Sunshine Hotel

In February, Navitas announced a major technology breakthrough with the introduction of the industry’s first integrated half-bridge GaN power IC, enabling up to a 100x increase in switching speeds while increasing energy savings by 40% or more. Four months later, the company announced its breakthrough 150W AC-DC demo board at over 21 W/in3 and over 95% efficiency, making it 2x smaller than typical commercial designs.
